A garden gnome called Murphy has been returned to his home in Gloucestershire after being missing for 7 months. And it appears he has been up to more than fishing with his feet up.
Murphy’s owner, Eve Stuart-Kelso, found her beloved gnome beside a plastic bag containing an album of 48 photos and stamped immigration permits to South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong and Laos.
The photos showed Murphy abseiling down a mountain, standing in a shark’s mouth, swimming in the sea, and riding a motorbike.
The British! Strangely proper and yet alarmingly eccentric!!
If you have ever wondered what it would be like to live in the UK, why not take a look at www.workingin-uk.com. The country is suffering a skills shortage which may make it easier than you think to get a visa to live and work there.
