UK Employers Widen Search for Staff to Overseas

A report undertaken by British employment agency Manpower, has revealed that 20% of British companies actively look overseas to fill vacancies caused by skills shortages.  The most common vacancies filled by foreign workers are labouring roles, followed by chefs, skilled trades, PAs, accounting and finance, customer service and doctors and nurses.

Mark Cahill, Manpowers Managing Director, commented that “workers coming to the UK cover a wide spectrum of roles from highly skilled positions such as medical doctors and accountants to manual trades and labourers. What is consistent is that these people are motivated to work and are able to address skills shortages.”

The jobs are here.  Where are you?  If you have the skills and want to start a new life in the second most sought after country in the world (the US is in the top spot) why not look into migrating now?
